That silver one with the Autodelta intake in North Devon did look good.
Have I seen that car somewhere else before, or I just spent too long with my nose pressed up against the monitor?
Many miles, but buy on condition and servicing they say?
I'm not feeling I missed out on that silver one for £2K, but I think that's a fair price and it could've be parked up in my garage for what I think is a pretty good price.
I still can't justify a hobby car. The blandmobile only did 4,000 miles between the last 2 MoTs and I got royally messed around by the MoT garage, them over quoting by 40% (enough to cover the cost of 2 new tyres) and then another garage failing it on something else. When garages sting you while you're running a blandmobile it doesn't bode well for running a catwalk model made metal like a GTV.
I met a colleague that's marshalled at Silverstone for many years and is really into their motors for the first time a few weeks ago. They drive a Lotus. The Busso V6 figured in our chat.
147 and 156 GTAs seem to have picked up in price from the dark, gloomy days of a year or so ago. I'm not sure if that's the economy and/or the changes in RFL for cars registered before 2006 or whenever the date is?
