Thank you for your reply!
I have also contacted AutoLusso about this, they told me they had done the same conversion a couple of years ago and this is what I have been told (I qoute):
''All the parts are transferable
You would need:
Hubs (tooth type ABS ring)
Callipers, discs & pads (of course=)
I think you will also need front shock absorbers
2.0 wheel bearing in the replacement hubs (depending on what size drive shafts you have)''
If I understand your and their answer correctly:
- the hub/hub carrier is a single unit and I should use the 24v spec unit
- front shocks; 24v spec or aftermarket system (to fit hub carrier unit and stabilizer)
- wheel bearings that fit the 24v spec hubs
I have come across a set of calipers for a good price (they are from a Fiat Coupe Turbo), but it still seems like the conversion might be quite expensive. =P
I will need to refresh my suspension in the spring anyway, so I have until then to decide whether to upgrade the brakes as well.
Those Brembo calipers really do look splendid and from owners' opinions far outperform the standard 284mm system.
In case i bite the bullet, I will update this thread.
Kind regards. Luka
