For the window regulator:
With the door card off, tape the window in the up position, this should stop it sliding down, and also make sure its in roughly the same position.
Unplug electrical connection to the motor,
Remove the 2 screws attaching the regulator to the glass, you should have access via two large holes in the door
Remove the 4 bolts holding the mechanism to the door.
Puzzle over how to remove the regulator from the hole in the door..
Take the opportunity to grease the rails the window slides on and the replacement regulator.
Mine failed due to water ingress into the motor, so I smeared silicone sealant around the areas likey to let water into the motor.
Refitting is the reverse of the above, with more swearing
Fit 1 of the 4 bolts finger tight, then refit both screws to attach it to the window, you will probably find now that the other 3 bolts dont line up..
Remove any tape holding the window, and fit the electrical connection to the motor. now give the down button little jabs until the other bolts line up.
Thats it pretty much,, it should be in roughly the same position, you can tweak the position slightly using the 2 screws holding it to the window.
