I think the quadrifoglio stickers should be a bit smaller and above the boot line that is where most people put them.
Well, like they say, "I'm not most people"
Most 70s GTVs seem to have them at sill level, and I can't get past the "it's at an angle" when it's above the body line.
I'll think about it some more. Perhaps a white on clear sticker would do the trick..
It's a no from me on the stickers, and yes to the Milanos
Get the Gliptone cleaner and a soft brush and work into the leather: I'm sure all that muck will come off no probelm, just that it will take a weekend
Might be worth trying carleatherdye.co.uk just in case there's any wear/scuffs/scratches on your leather that become apparent after a thorough clean.
With regards to iPhone/Sat Nav, you can buy the TomTom app WITH a cradle (their cradles are very good) and the cradle boosts the signal too
It's the usual 'sucker on the windscreen cradle' AFAIK, but it will never slip off.
Mucky leather aside, the metallic grey and tan leather was looking
Yes to the Milanos. Well, we'll see what my bank manager says on payday.
I spent two hours on the leather today, and got 60% of the filth out, but still left with it looking fairly grubby, so I'll have to look at something else (something like the Gliptone - or the terrifying stuff in a nescafe jar Ned gave me which takes the paint off their garage floor). There are some scuffs, but because the leather is so light, the scuffs end up darker, so I'm not sure a conventional dye will do..
I did look at the tom tom cradle, but aside from the price, it has very weird cabling - and I'm not sure if it will link straight to the stereo using the ipod lead. It looks like it needs the port to do the GPS signal transfer.
I'm looking at the simplest of the GTV brodit pro-clips right now - stuck just to the side of the stereo, or the heater controls.
Someone on the web is using the pro-clip mount for the 30gig ipod for their phone, which has a decent mount, but also some weird cabling. But the weird bit looks like the line out, which I'd guess you can ignore/saw off.
But a combination of those two looks like it would give something pretty clean.
