You have to know in France we have unleaded fuel (SP98) and a new flex fuel (ethanol E85 which is a mixture of 85% alcohol and 15% unleaded fuel).
Unleaded fuel :
Power : 307 bhp @ 6295 RPM / Torque : 275.7 lb/ft @ 5295 RPM (Red line unchanged @ 6750 RPM)
E85 (flex fuel):
Power : 333 bhp @ 6730 RPM / Torque : 270.8 lb/ft @ 5394 RPM (Red line unchanged @ 6750 RPM)
I'm really impressed ! The car is transformed. It's a very linear feeling but strong power and torque come from 3000 RPM to 6750 RPM. It seems to be a never-ending acceleration !
Q2 limited slip differential does a good job to manage the power increase but you have to hold the steering wheel enough !
However bigger antiroll bars from alfaholics are in my todo list to complete the suspension !
I will also have to change brake pads with Carbone Lorraine RC5+ and the clutch with a kit conversion from "Clutch Specialist" !
And a great idea will be to put some manifold heat insulating protection tape and some water wetter for coolant purpose and reducing temperature.
I will try to make some road tests with my Gtech and give you some 0-60mph, 0-100mph and dragstrip times !
You know what ? I'M HAPPY ! A smile on my face whenever I open out the throttle !
