Anyone replaced their hood?

Anyone here replaced the hood on their spider. my back window was knackered so I bought a new hood, Bargain price.
The alfa manual is pretty vague about it.

Try a few local car trimmers this is not really a job for an amateur if you get the tension wrong when fitting you will never get a good fit (a friend who really is a DIY nut and very good at most things tried on his MGB but gave up and took it to a fitter)I was quoted 220 locally when i considered changing mine but decided to just replace back window as hood is really to good just now to scrap.
