Front brake pads

Changed my pads today, The brakes have felt very unresponsive, hard pedal and dead. I replaced the worn discs and pads on the rear a couple of weeks ago.
Today I thought I'd do the fronts. The old pads I removed were very glazed and brittle, they were also seized in the caliper as if they were always too big, I had to tap (!) them out,
The new pads fitted in nice and smoothly with no resistance, I used anti squeel stickers and copper slip on the back and edge of the pads. I replaced the brake fluid with the cunning use of an eezibleed kit by Gunson best thing Ive bought for 13.
The difference is amazing, more bite and progression, well worth the effort and lost skin !!
Pads removed were Ferodo and replaced with Mintex, not everyones recommended pad but over the years Ive always been happy with their performance.
Finally the car feels like it has brakes that it should.

I'm suprised you didn't go for the DS2500, my brakes are very sharp because of them. They are a little pricey but great pads and i have tried and cooked many.
