Help Cheap roof from ebay - Anyone fitted before?

Hi Guys & Girls

New to this forum, but have owned Alfa's since I started driving. Once bitten, never shy!

Anyway, does any one 'know how to' or 'has information on fitting a complete roof'?

Would also like to know if there is a how to guide!

That price is great but is it same as original ? I guess it should be 3 layered if it is.

Also no black ones but there is the dark blue, that might be ok against the black on my car...hmm

Ive been the victim of a vandal in the past slashing the hood on a new golf i owned.Having purchased my spider i then saw on ebay a good hood with frame for 175 so i bought it.I then saw a sad spider in my local breakers with a good hood and frame and got it for 80.I believe even just the rear windows cost around 140 upwards new so im very happy. The issue is putting the hood on the frame.Whilst you can fit a complete hood to the car in around an hour a trimmers quoted me 8 hours labour to do the whole works i.e hood on frame then complete assembly on car. Before buying check the labour time to fit the hood to the frame. What with the time factor and the need for a possible new rear window it may be more cost effective to buy a good secondhand hood.An experienced fitter may advise otherwise so get a second opinion.
