Autodelta GTV 3.0L replacement chip

Hi All,

Have been the proud owner of a phase 1 1997 GTV 3.0L V6 for a couple of weeks now and want to mildly tune it mainly to liberate a bit more of the Alfa sound. Will fit the Ragazzon dual DTM pipe straight through exhaust (to remove the 2 rear silencers), remove the resonator box and replace with straight aluminium hose and swop the original air filter with the sport one from Autodelta (seems to be the cheapest such option) whilst retaining the original airbox.

Was wondering about the benefit of Autodelta's rechip as well. Has to be a rechip with my car as its a 1997 version so can't remap it. I know it will raise the rev limit but what about driveability and torque lower in the rev range? Cost about £300 fitted.

Has anyone had this done and what benefits did they find it brought about?

Spend an hour or two searching this site about AD chips and filters, there's some posts that are worth reading.
