javars...I have just about completed the complete refurb of my rear suspenders and have not used a pair of bottom arms - They were bought as an upgrade (They are V6 ones). I have checked them and the bushes are good and I have wire wheeled and painted them in Hammerite Black.
Now that I have re-poly'd everything else the are surplus to requirements as I decided to use the original ones. I might also have a complete set of unused top wishbone inner bushes. I bought 2 sets thanks to a bit of confusion with the way Polybush word their website list!
I know I paid £40 for the arms plus postage but I will have to see what the bushes cost (I get a pretty good discount from them because of the amount of MGB/Lotus stuff we buy from them).
Let me know if you are interested via PM or just ring me on 07973 766718.
When you strip the bottom wishbone pans, take a pickle hammer (like an MOT pick) and bash off the rust - You may be suprised at what you find. Mine were like a swiss cheese even though they looked pretty good. I refuse to buy a complete set from Autolusso so I have patch repaired them with thicker steel but considering the excellent condition of the car (and only 68k) I was shocked to find "what lay beneath" - Good luck with the bottom pans and invest in a reasonable gas torch diposable canister type - You will need it.
