Is the MAFF connected?
Then its got a KN, is that a replacement filter as per standard, or a cone type.
If its a cone type, then it will never idle correctly until warm, unles you have it remapped expencive of a bit of noise!
I had all these problems and my cure was through away the cone filter and fit a standard filter, preplace the maff sensor. Clean the throttle body/butterfly, reset ECU properly on a PC or code readed, not playing about with disconnecting batteries.
Now she idles at about 900 rpm, red lines at 7000 rpm,
Ok I do have a very very intermittent idle fault but I can live with that.
At least the car goes well.
