Low tone rumbles

at around 20 mph I get a very low rumble, from the rear me thinks! Thought it was a hole in the exhaust but thats fine. Can anyone help?

Anyone here driving the green GTV in Chichester on Friday?

All the best

If your rear bushes are on the way out it can cause uneven rear tyre wear which might give the rumble you're talking about.

Run your hand round the top of the rear tyre and feel the inside edge of the tread - if they're unevenly worn you'll feel a distinctive "50p" shape to the tyre.

It could be several things, check the condition of the rear's for uneven wear or just general wear with the tyres getting low on tread.
Gtv's are very good at transmitting tyre noise into the cabin especialy when certain makes of tyre get to below 4mm.
Stepping on the edges can be common if the rear toe is out, again more common on cetain makes than others.
Check your rear wheel bearings aren't starting to grumble.
Also get your bushes checked for wear as gooman says.
