Call a car something it isn't
have a look at this GTV "Silver Cup"
WTF is that about....since when does a 2.0 GTV with an aero kit some cup wings and a set of aftermarket alloys constitute a Cup
Cups are Alfa Red, have 17'' teledials, special seats and have a 3.0 engine.
I know this should really be in the rant section, but its GTV related so i thought i would vent it here
Ok, this ones a 3.0, teledials and has half the Aerokit on it, no rear spoiler, no Cup wings and no cup interior, so why call it a cup lookalike....
that's like saying a 2.0 GTV is a 3.0 look a like, in order to look like it the spec should be the same as it IMHO
they are conning %^&£$%^& !!!!!!!!!!!
that is why , they seem to do it all the time , treat customers like they are £$%^&ing stupid.
i agree with your ranting.
Get a life or at least read the fuller description on my website. Advertisers can't print the entire wording sometimes due to data transfer etc but the main description is there.
It is only misleading & incorrect to imply that they are the genuine article which obviously they are not. But they not standard GTVs so how would you like the description to be?
There is not much difference between a standard 3.0 GTV & a Cup so one with some or all of the bodykit would qualify, in my opinion, as a lookalike.
The Cups don't fetch a massive premium over good standard GTVs anyway. Perhaps if Alfa had gone the whole hog & produced them with uprated, suspension, brakes, exhaust & engines then they would be & then calling a non Cup a lookalike or whatever might be considered serious enough to get hot under the collar about.
I'll be advertising on here soon so it will be easier for you to critisise my descriptions.
I try to sell slightly more unusual examples rather than standard cars, sorry.
At least you've got a sense of humour Smokey Joe.
Did any of you see the posts that I placed re 'If I own Cup No 33...' trying to help sort that out?
Luv & kisses
