Putting the Spider back into daily service - help!
After a long time of being in the garage the 916 Spider is finally going to be pressed back in to daily service.
Im picking her up next Saturday and I intend to refresh a lot of the car over the coming months.
Apart from a flat battery I think she is pretty much good to go, although there are some jobs that will need attending to quite quickly
1) The thermostat needs changing - I intend to do this myself, is it a tough job?
2) She has in intermittent mis-fire. Some times it cripples the car and then doesnt appear again for 2 months, I think its something electrical and one of the few things that have never been changed on the car since I bought it are the HT leads.
Again, is HT lead fitting a DIY job?
If anyone has tips for the above procedures and online retailer (who preferably deliver to Europe) for the HT leads and thermostat id be very grateful.
