Thanks Andyroo75 but I think I have cut out that one (passenger footwell, centre console) and soldered the wires permanently. There were two connector there (1 x green and 1 x white) and Iv'e done both. I have also soldered two connectors in footwell passenger side of the door (White and a yellow). Which leaves me with only a big white one on the passenger side of the door with about 20 wires. Maybe I should just do that one as well then I know they are all done. Mine happens when I am alone (nobody kicking the connector) and I drive the same bumpy roads every day. It happened twice already on a Tuesday. Maybe Tuesdays are jinxed. Already had the MAFM replaced and also sprayed contact cleaner into the throttle valve actuator connector (then it was ok for about 2 weeks). This was the same time I noticed that my fuse box had unclipped as as I went over a bump, boom, the light came on and it was in hesitation mode. Did the throttle valve spraying and clipping the fuse box in position.... Happened again the other day as I accelorated onto the freeway (stopped at home, switched off the motor, next morning light was still on as I drove a few hundred meter, then went off and performance was fine until the Tuesday again, had been sitting in traffic a long time and all was fine, then suddenly, boom, on again, not abumpy road at all.....waiting for the next time.
Maybe I should take it for a diagnostic. Have someone who is an Alfa expert not too far from me.....
Any other suggestions?
Could the potentiometer be suspect? If it was the pot I am sure it would happen more frequently?
