pushing back front brake pistons

Hi I am about to change the front discs and pads on my 3l gtv and was wondering how to get the pistons back in their housing. Can I just use a G clamp or do i need a special tool?

no a G clap will work, it might take a few attempts tho as when you push one side back and then go to do the other side the first side move back out slightly. just do it slowly and make sure you take the cap of the brake fluid and keep an eye on the level.

I did it with my hands. And as sean0711 says, when pushing one piston, the other goes a little bit back.
