For GTVs chassis numbers 6023907 and higher should have the later ecu,, though if one sat around for a while it could be registered on R plate, but have the older ecu.. I guess..

I just wanted to add to this thread.

The chip will only work on the M2.10.3 ECU

Any other ECU including the M2.10.4 won't work and plastic topped engine cars are not chippable, they need to be remapped by downloading a new program on the ECU.

A couple of years back I had a 145 Cloverleaf with the M2.10.4 ECU and I put a wanted ad up for the appropriate Squadra chip. I ended up being sent the wrong one and I thought I would try it anyway, and the car wouldn't even start..

You will never be cool driving a Vauxhall.
