Hmmm Broken Bump Stops - must I replace the shocks/springs

I can see these bump stops broken and loose in my rear springs....needless to say, tyres do touch at heavy bumps and and can hear major "thudding" on the deep bumps (if that makes sense).
I have Eibach springs with standard shocks...I am told by Eibach South Africa that this combination should not be a problem...but my bump stops have broke / are loose. The springs have been in there for more than 3 years. Are they done for?...Handling is not the greatest, but the shocks seems fine.
Shorter Eibach springs with standard long shocks... Is this the problem? Should I change my shocks to shorter ones?
Should I just replace my bump stops & if so, wont they break again.

Any advice will be appreciated.

If uve changed the springs you shud change the shocks to either KONI FSDs or Bilstein B6's. The bump stops can be just replaced as long as the bump stop plates are in good condition e.g. not rusted etc.

V common for them to become detached. Mine did & I didn't notice a problem with standard setup and enthusiastic but not extreme driving. Just get new bumpstops (Powerflex do tougher ones)
