Fuel smell in car
My problem is that when I bought my car the CD changer had been removed from the boot. This didn't worry me at all as I thought I would never use it.
The issue is that apparently the CD changer was attached by drilling into the fuel tank (is this correct?). Anyhow now that the CD changer has been removed I have the smell of fuel into the boot which seeps into the car.
It looks as though I am going to have to get a new fuel tank or would a cheaper idea be to get another CD changer and reinstall it into the boot?
My car is a 2003 GTV 2.0 JTS.
Does anyone know how the CD changers were attached in the boot of the GTV
