Gear Box Issues

Wondering if anyone can help - sod's law I had this issue about 25 miles after leaving a garage that my car had it's brake pads sorter for.

Anyway, was driving down to Teignmouth and suddenly had trouble getting the car into 4th gear. The problem persisted, intermittently - and the gears feel slightly trickier/clunkier to use/get into gear now.

Not only that, but when I pulled into my drive the biting point for the clutch MAY have moved slightly - if it has then it is so minute that it's one of those things you only pick up on cos I drive all the time. It also sounds slightly squeaky.

Anyone got any clues?

Maybe a bleed of the clutch system is in order, might have air in it. They share the same reservior so the garage may have emptied it while bleeding the brake system when fitting the pads. Just a guess though good luck

I agree that a bleed of the clutch hydraulics is the first step.
After that, take a peek at the How To Section on the Alfa Workshop site. There's one called How to remedy a non selecting fourth gear.
