Aargh! Please help! I have a 2000, 2.0 Spider TSpark - and as I tried to drive away from the petrol station this morning, the engine cut out as I went from neutral into gear. It took a few attempts, and a fair bit of revving to get going... But had it it out again when I got home and was parallel parking on street - cut out as I went into reverse. Tried starting it again, and it keeps dying when I go into gear.
From what I can see looking online, it seems this might be crank shaft.
Is this going to be an expensive problem to fix?? I love this car, and it already has lots of wee things I need to get fixed, but is this going to be ££££? I only got the car two weeks ago! ??? Any help appreciated. Cheers. X
