Just replaced my standard ones with AutoArt black repeaters. Was fiddly working out how to get them off, but once I had was ok.
Used a piece of folded paper which I shoved under the edge of the repeater when pulling it away from the vehicle by hand. Once this was under I wiggled a screwdriver under the edge (paper stops scratching on bodywork) and wiggled it once under to get the repeater 3-4mm away from the bodywork. Repeated this on both sides (rear side was harder for me) and then pulled it away, squeezing the metal clasp on the front side if necessary. I personally found I couldnt get enough of an angle from the front side to make the metal clasp work for me, so worked both ends as discussed.
The drivers side wiring didnt have much spare length on it (passenger was ample) so I was careful not to lose it. Slotted in amber bulb to replace standard bulb and replaced all housing. I found that the aperture on the AutoArt ones was comparable to the standard for a snug fit at the top, but didnt taper enough inside for the bulb casing to really feel secure, so I wrapped a piece of paper around the bulb casing so it fitted more securely. The only thing I need to be aware of now is if/when I need to replace the drivers side one, will the new repeater come off the bulb casing so easily that I lose the bulb casing and wire inside the panel?! Hopefully all will be well.
Hope that helps anyone.
