Stop the squeal!
I need to replace my auxillary belt tensioner on my 2ltr Spider (with air con) and have been told it is a straightforward 20min job and all I need to do is:
Remove the front offside wheel
Remove part of the wheelarch cover (to gain access to the belt tensioner)
Undo the bolt on the belt tensioner..................and that's were I need some help with what to do next.
Having just spent approx £1,000 over the last two weeks I'm trying to avoid further garage bills by doing some work myself. Hopefully one of you has done this before and can let me know what to do next, and what pitfalls to look out for, and help me stop the squeal of the belt!
