Wiper problems

Is there a fix to the problem where above 90 in the rain the wipes lift of the screen a bit?

I think he was referring to a problem on his dad's GTV, not his own Clio.

The local dealer had never heard of this problem!

But replaced the drivers wiper under warranty for a "new" style blade . The new blade doesn't lift off at such a low speed 50-60, but still does not clear the screen when over 80mph.

Dealer is going to inverstigate at 12,000 service next week. IMO it is either the wiper arm spring tension or the blade length and aerofoil section not being attuned. If said dealer cannot fix problem I will go with a smaller bosch wiper which has an aerofoil 12 from Halfrauds.

The clips to attach the washer tubing can be purchased from Alfa only as part of the tubing assembly which retails at 6 +vat

Mine does the same over 80, it misses a small area at the top of the windscreen.

I've changed the blades and used new clips at each end of each blade to hold them a bit more taut. It's a bit better, but still not great.

But, to be honest, being a short-arse it doesn't bother me too much!

I think I have an associated problem on my new Spider. The windscreen cleans really good well over 150 ! but ..... in certain wind directions - mostly from the front - it sounds just like a saw - a loud saw. So they may have fixed the wipe but now its something else.
