stereo and steering wheel help
Joined a while ago, but its took me this long to sell mine and then find a decent 3.0lt GTV.
Had it 3 days then some tw*t ran into me at a roundabout, so its with the insureres now.
Passenger door, wing, and a little bit of the bonnet damaged. GUTTED.
My question is, are there any guides to taking the steering wheel off?
I have a stunning Isotta steering wheel to put on, but I have only seen boss kits for non airbag models.
Iassume as the old steering wheel will be off (with the airbag) I will be able to use a non airbag boss kit?
Secondly, if I put my own stereo in, will it go of and on with the ignition, instead of having to manually turn it off and on, as I have to do with the standard one.
Also apart from Alfa Romeo, are there any other places that would sell a stereo "adaptor" to conceal the gap once a non standard stereo is fitted.
