Would I be right in saying that your car could easily do 145mph or more? My first job was as a tyre fitter in Oxford and every time I repaired a performance car's tyre, my supervisor would say " you know that car can do 150mph, you happy to do that?" and it was too late, I'd fixed the tyres on Porsche's, BMW's, you name it, and they were gone. I'll never forget the lack of weight of a 928's titanium nuts!! I was 17 at the time and whilst I was shown how to do it would you trust your car/life to a what I can only call a butt plug being pushed into your tyre from the inside out?? If it's leaking air get a new one, I believe the tyre should also be de-rated due to the repair? If you can afford a 3 litre car you're only talking of 2 tanks of fuel to replace the tyre!!! Yes I'm jealous of your big engine, but I think I have a point!!
