Seems to be a fairly common problem. Happened to me, finally located the source of rear rattle and leak - you could push the rear screen outwards from the inside at one corner. Anyways - I dont think its fixable, sorry - my mechanic tried silcone, etc , couldnt get a permanent fix. The rubber seal is encapsulated to the screen and that in turn to the car so you cant buy it sperately, and you will probably have to cut the old one out to remove.
My solution - find a friendly car - glass place. A new screen & seal is pushing towards a grand from Alfa so forget that. Car glass place will tell the insurance its been smashed, you need a new one. (or if you can bring youserself to do it - take a hammer to it). Most insurance policies will fix glass for a fixed 75 quid fee - if broken. They will go direct to your insurance company and do the legwork. You dont need a police report or anything and wont lose your no claims. Check policy first!!
Whatever you do dont call Autoglass and ask them to do their free check on your insurance to see if you are covered for a gone seal - they will check with your insurance and the answer will be no - you then cant change story.
The car glass place will get paid full whack so are usually happy - although the job is supposed to be an utter b%stard and my place said he would never do a GTV rear screen again as long as he lived!
And try find somewhere that will take care of your interior - especially if you have one of the pale headlinings.
