Right I finally did this job today, and it really was a doddle.
For those that have never changed one, the moving tensioner comes in a released state, and is held that way with a pin.
Remove the wheel and lower access cover in the wheelarch.
Release the old tensioner with a 15mm spanner (anti clockwise), slide off the belt.
Remove the other 2 tensioners. (13mm socket on the small fixed one, 8mm allen key on the moving one and large fixed one)
Fix on the new tensioners, including the moving one (I used some loctite on the threads)
Feed the belt over, making sure all of the Vee's line up with the pulleys correctly.
Use a 15mm spanner to take some of the load on the moving tensioner, and pull the pin out with a pair of pliers. The tensioner will then tension the belt.
Put the wheelarch cover back on and the wheel and job done.
Sorry I didn't take any pictures along the way.
You will never be cool driving a Vauxhall.
