C&B stage 1 cam

Hello every GTV's owner

I just install a C&B cams for my GTV 2.0 T.sparks.
It is bought from EB Spare. It is a cam which improve the low end torque. Torque can improve the driving fun. The first day when I took the car with the cam install, it really improve the action of the car especially at the 1 & 2 gear.
The sound of the engine become more impresive. Nice, Nice. Problems found at the second try on a couple of days later. When I start the engine at the morning, very noisey from the cams or any other mechnical parts of the engine. The idle rpm start 1200rpm and then down to 500rpm only at the normal idle. A low idle rpm make the car vibrate
and even the exhaust pipe shaking and noisy.
The low idle rpm still keeps on. Can any advise me what the problem is ? Can the idle rpm adjust ? Or, is it a misfit problem of the cam, cam belt or any other things ?
Looking for comment from anyone who replace the cams before.

Um you are gonna get a dodgy idle from putting longer duration cams in, if you are getting low down torque then something is wrong, cams push torque up the rev range to give you more horsepower!!

i think your ECU needed some tweaking too.

In fact autodelta supply a completely new ECU program with their cam upgrade.

I guess just fitting new cams is not the complete job!!

you need to tune it.
