<strong>Hi Big Dave
Sorry to take this off topic but I was just wondering if you have managed to find an Alfa dealer with half a clue in the area? Since the Shrewsbury dealer closed my GTV has been going to the Ex-Alfa, now Fiat dealer in Stourbridge. After nine dealer visits it’s filthy (oily fingerprints everywhere) and still making the very same noise from the front end despite having a multitude of very expensive parts replaced. Needless to say I’m a bit fed up now, I’ve completely lost faith in the dealer but don’t seem to have much alternative!
I’m a bit wary about the Telford dealer as I had trouble with them when they were Toyota dealers (I’m sorry – it was a company car!) and really don’t trust them with my pride and joy!

I agree with your comments about the Telford dealer, they are bloody useless. wink
I've been in contact with the Guest Alfa dealers in Knowle, Solihull. This is where my car was originally serviced before I brought it - http://www.guestmotors.alfaromeo.co.uk/
They have proved to be very helpful, and I've only spoken to them over the phone. Give them a try.
Failing that I have found an independant Alfa specialist in Shrewsbury (Italian Chap - Marino), not far from the old Alfa dealer in fact, on the industrial estate near Stadco.
I haven't had any work done from them yet so I can't say how good or bad they are. I was going to get them to change the cambelt, tensioner and variator, they've quoted £100.
There number is 01743 450220
Hope this helps
