I know I haven't been around much lately (work has been really hectic) but it's nice to see that my GTV still gets a mention!
To clarify, the visual mods (it isn't exactly standard under the skin either) are as follows:
Autodelta front spoiler
Autodelta side skirts
Autodelta dual-twin exhaust
Autodelta rear splitter (2 peice)
Zender Siena 18" wheels
Clear side repeaters (essential)
I don't think the side view posted above doesn't really do it justice, so here's some more photos:
The 18" wheels don't really give a noticably different ride to the stock 17" wheels surprisingly. I wouldn't shy away from them because of that, they look amazing and they don't make things too harsh. Yes, the tires are a tad expensive, I have Michelin Pilot Sports fitted and whilst they aren't cheap, they aren't THAT much more expensive than the equivalent tyre on a 17" rim, besides, Autodelta do these wheels pre-fitted with Yokohama tyres at a very attractive price.
The dual-twin exhaust makes the most amazing noise and it looks perfect IMHO, it should be fitted as standard! As for the rear wing, I hate them, they spoil the car completely. What I have tried to achive is a subtle re-work of the Pinin Farina original design, without detracting too much from the original shape. I think the rear spoiler spoils the lines of the car and is a big no-no in my book, as is that hideous cadamuro bonnet - Euch!
There is a lot of kit out there for the GTV, you can style it really well if you pick and choose the right bits, just be careful you don't go over the top. I had a vision of what I wanted to achieve all along and I think I succeded. Certainly the feedback I get on the finished look is fantastic - Thanks guys!
Good luck with your project Punts, I had a lot of fun doing the work on my car, I hope you have as much fun with yours!
