I'd scratched the green off my list of colours because when I saw it in the flesh it looked good, but it looked like a Jag - not an Alfa.
I'd pretty much decided on black but then I saw a metallic grey GTA in the dealer's showroom and it looked really nice, and different. Apparently meteor grey is very close to that shade, but lighter. Unfortunately he didn't have a meteor grey one on the floor so I couldn't see what it really looked like. Has anyone seen it in the "flesh" and does it suit the GTV? My fallback color is black otherwise.
Also: what colour interior would match this colour better? Red or tan (or both)?
Thanks for your patience, fellas - you probably think I'm one of the most indecisive mofos around, but I wanna make sure I get this right.
its a nice colour, but as you said, black or red will make it look sportier imo.
about the itnerior, i think red would be better with a grey exterior. with a black exterior both tan and red will look ok i think.
and no, we dont think you're 'one of the most indecisive mofos around' wink
before I bought my GTV V6 black with grey interior....I came very close to buying one in Eclipse grey with a burgundy interior.. Personally I think its a beautiful colour and would be my 2nd choice behind black
Thanks Patrick, it's just that I've basically got a blank slate when it comes to what kind of GTV I'll be leasing...I'm not used to having this much choice. I'm also an impulsive person and I want to get something that I can live with for the next three years, not something that I impulsively get now.
I saw a Meteor Grey Spider today and I've decided I like the colour - it's a bit less common than red or black, and is easier to maintain, and doesn't look as out-of-character as green (which is a good colour but it made it look more like a Jag than an Alfa). I don't like silver, but that Meteor Grey is dark enough to look classy without being ostentatious. Now I just need to decide on the interior and I have 4 days to do that. http://www.alfaowner.com/forum/ubb/icons/icon9.gif
I'm leaning towards red at the moment, but the only thing stopping me is that I'm not sure if I can live with it for 3 years. Tan is probably classier and will not age as quickly, but it's a bit more common.
This decision is really ****ing me off, I tell you...
