Further rear camber confusion.........

As mentioned in a previous thread my TS GTV has a fair bit of -ve camber at the back and bottoms out over tabletop speed humps. It also feels a bit harsh at the back as well. I know that a PO had a spring kit fitted when the car was 1yr old and that the springs are red.

Well, I got some secondhand standard rear springs from a member breaking a car with the intention of swapping them over and restoring the back to standard camber / height.

So imagine my surprise when I get the red springs off and they turn out to be longer than the standard ones sitting on the floor next to me! They are Eibachs which I do know many people do fit to GTV's.

Also while they were off I played with the suspension a bit, and it seems to me that there is actually very little camber change through the range of movement. The outer spring pan bush does seem a little loose and worn.

So I put the Eibachs back on. I will take some pictures when it stops raining.

Now I am really confused. Any suggestions?

Many thanks..... Berni
