Fitting clutch slave cylinder

hi guys,

I'm new here so hello.

I am trying to fit a clutch slave cylinder to my 1970 1300 duetto and not sure what to do.
I managed to get the old one off but not sure how to get new one on.

Do I
a) remove rubber housing at plunger end to slip in on this end first or
b) somehow move the arm connecting to the clutch that gets in the way for slipping
it on from this side.
I would be very grateful for an answer as I am stuck at home until I sort this one out.

Thanks in advance

Hmmm, if it was a 156 or similar, I could help you, sorry - I dont know how these are done on that model.

Hope you get an answer soon.

Tell me how the old slave came out-was it held in place with a circlip and is it located in a 360 degree/complete circle casting? If it is(like a Sud) then you just slide the new one in the same way the old one came out, you do not need to remove the rubber boot that covers the plunger.

I have just been told off-list how to do this. Thanks anyway.
It is attached in a 360 circle casting with circlips on each side.
I'm told that I need to remove the rubber boot to fit it through the attachment then put the boot back on.
