Go Saturday - best all round, best day for drivers. Sunday is advanced booking only. I've been for all three days for 7 years - mostly working and this time is the first time I have been able to go as a visitor, but I still get to go to the ball - now where's the turnip, mice and a fairy god mother when you need one....Highlights include the launch of the new Maybach, Renault as main sponsor (and loads of F1 cars from renault across the ages), loads of amazing cars and probably one of the best Cartier Style et Luxe ever. The historic Maybachs are VERY rare, few still exist and one from the MB Museum (they will not mention this bit by the way) took Neville Chamberlain to see Hitler at Berchtesgaden when they were discussing the Munich Agreement). Its a fabulous event by any standards. Except if it rains, then it can all get a bit yuk (1998 was horrendous).
