i've got a bit of a problem with my rear suspension bushes...the driver's side is ok, for now, but the passenger side starts to clonk when i go into corners (and out) and the car leans a bit (or if there is more than just me in the car, especially on the passenger side and in the back)...the sound it makes, well it's a bit like clonk clonk clonk clonk until the car stabilizes and the sound goes away. i know it's the rear bushes, i just don't know which ones. you will probably tell me to replace all of them, and i will...as soon as i can afford it...and since i don't want to damage the subframe, i want to replace the ones i absolutely have to and the rest will come later.
so, i lifted up my alfa and took some photos...they aren't great but will have to do for now...hopefully
as i understand, the most prone to fail are those attachet onto the frame, or am i wrong? that would mean nr. 5,6 and 8, right (on the first attached pisture)?and as i hear, the top link bushes (8) aren't prone to fail, so all that is left are 5 and 6...
the bushes on the trailing arm are fine, although i did notice that i could move the bush nr.5 for like a milimeter...but the bush itself seems ok, it isn't cracked or anything else...(second picture) what's your opinion?
the thing that worried me was bush nr. 6! (picture 3,4,5) it looks like its melted or something like that. it's not centered at all and its touching the frame on the other side...could this be the problem?
