Alfa Behaviour - Choking??

Has anyone ever got in their car turned the ignition and the car started but it felt like the auto choke didn't kick in? Happened to me yesterday, driving it there was no power at 2.5K revs and the feeling that the car was actually pulling back on you when the accelerator was depressed. Finally kicking back in at the higher rev range.

........ Got in this morning and it was fine to work and even spicier on the way home. The only thing I have done recently is put some BP Ultimate in the tank.

Re: Alfa Behaviour - Choking??

Chokes were part of carburettors - long gone now. The mixture is controlled automatically by the ECU to suit the conditions. The maf is always suspect No 1 on a V6 but once its gone, its gone. Wouldn't expect the recovery you describe. Could literally be a poor connection or one-off problem with fuel delivery. Fingers crossed ...
