I think my wipers have a mind of their own.
Since I got a car just over a month ago, the only wiper setting that would work would be intermittent. Top notch would park the wipers about 2 inches up. Second notch would be intermittent wipe. Third and fourth notches just stopped the wipers - I often used these to park the wipers at the bottom of the screen.
I put it on my todo list, rain has been light recently I never got round to it.
Tonight there was a torrential downpour, and luckily my Alfa then decided to show me the full wipe and the high speed wipe. Which was grand.
Except that now they wont turn off. Driving in dry weather, with wipers scraping across the screen tonight.
Notches 1,2,3 are "normal" wipe, notch 4 is "high speed". Cannot get them to turn off at all. Even lost my old intermittent.
Has anyone experienced anything like this before? If so, would it point to the stalk, the fusebox, or something else?
If it's dry tomorrow morning and shes still acting up, out pops the fuse.
(Yes I appreciate the electrics are part of the charm. That's what I signed up for
Otherwise I would've bought a Corolla...
