What MODS?????

The cambelt has slipped on my V6 Spider I was thinking, while the heads are off I might aswell get the ports polished etc. Does anyone have any ideas for worthwhile mods while the heads are off???
I dont want to go too wild....so bigger valves etc are out! I would like to do some work to it though. I also thought of installing the Autodelta carbon induction kit but sadly Autodelta no longer sell it. Does anyone have an unused one lying around???

I am on a budget because I'll have to get a couple of other things done at the same time (engine mounts, rear bump stops, new air inlet hose etc.) so I dont want to spend ridiculous amounts of money on mods but any suggestions would be gratefully welcomed.

A lot of people recommend the BCA carbon induction kit. You could go for performance cams, but perhaps thats a little expensive?

Re: What MODS?????

Whilst the heads are off it is always good policy to get new belt, and check the water pump. It's perfect opportunity to replace cams. C&B cams are about 1000 but as said above GTA inlet cams "apparently" improve performance and can be had for about 240. If fitting new cams you will probably need cam followers (12 of them) but you may well have needed them anyway seeing as the belt has slipped.
How many valves were damaged?

Re: What MODS?????

I'm not sure how many valves are damaged as yet. I haven't had it in to the specialists yet to have a look. Hopefully not too many, the belt slipped at very low revs. I'll need to save up a little more money before I can get them to start any work ( I had to buy an old Mk.3 VW Golf as a run around until the Spider can be repaired so there isn't much in the kitty at the moment.) I'll most definately have the water pump changed while the heads are off. At the moment the list stands at:

- Repair the heads/valves/cambelt
- New engine mounts
- New rear bump stops & bushes
- Replace the waterpump
- Possibly GTA cams
- BCA induction system

Where does one source a BCA induction system from???
