I cannot see why you would want a 300+ BHP GTV? At the end of the day it is basicly a Fiat Tipo with some pretty clothes on, the weight is all right on, if not past the front wheels and on a bumpy road they wallow and handle like crap, there not particularly quick around bends either due to the above. They are a relitivly cheap 'sports car' and there performance is on par with this.
Wow, some people really dont have a clue do they.Think this might be a case of "i was going through bends with my foot to the floor and cant understand why it was understeering,i know, must be nose heavy" To describe a GTV with crap handling is just plain moronic, espescially on a GTV fourm, and is just asking to have your statement shredded. In the dry, with dirt cheap enduro tyres on, i rarely come across someone on the country lanes that can keep up with me, bar supercars. So maybe you should buy a porshe, beacause that looks as though thats the only way you'd keep drivers like me passing you on the lanes. But everyone is entitled to there opinion, and this is a public forum.
Ok, no offence here but i have probably broke more GTV's than you have seen, and basiclly the whole front of a GTV is a Brava/Bravo/Tipo/Tempra/156.
Ok,now this one.I have just sold my Bravo HLX,or GT if your in ireland, and your having a damn laugh, and making things up as you go along might i add, if you think the Bravo shares **** all with the GTV. I mean seriously, if you think the front end of the Bravo, GT or HGT, is the same as the GTV, you couldnt tell the difference between a Car and a pigeon.
