JTS 2.0Lt hesitation
Just a quick update, got hold of some diagnostic software (fiat ECUSan & Scan XL) connected up to the car yesterday. Readings taken once engine was at normal op temp.
No fault codes are showing or pending, but I did notice two odd readings (I think) both long & Short fuel trims for both banks (front pre-cat lambdas) are reading very high in negative values?
Long term are:
-37.5% & -35.2%
-41% & -39%
According to an article I’ve just read, anything above 20% ish is too high. Minus means the Ecu is removing fuel (I think) because it’s running too rich or is being told by other sensor(s) its rich.
Still finding my way around the software so I thinks wise to check these again, probably a after a long run, let car idle then test at Idle and 500rpm steps up to 2,500 rpm (just where flat spot disappears)
If anyone’s got any ideals…feel free all thought are welcome.
