It won't be cheap I am afraid.

The Pipes are normally corroded into the cooler so you will most likely need to swap the whole lot, as they won't seperate without damage unless you are lucky.

I think the cooler and pipes costs around 300, Alternative Auto's or shop4parts will sell them.

The unit is the same as on Fiat Coupe Turbo's.

What Simon said. If you are buying new pipes you may be able to get after market ones cheaper. Merlin Motorsport do a range of different sized Mocal oil hoolers and flexible hose in any length, you could get the hoses in rubber with clips and a new oil cooler for probably around the 100 mark.

Re: how much to replace oil cooler pipes?

Just done this myself... Alternative Autos were the cheapest on OEM pipes and cooler but still a couple of hundred...

I tried to do the job myself but access to the second of the two pipes is not existent without getting the car up on a ramp... Auto Lusso helped me out in the end!

Probably worth budgeting for an oil change as well, at the very least you'll probably be looking at a new filter and a top up.

All worth doing though, the consequences of them going could be one of either (a) a broken engine due to be starved of oil and or (b) a major accident when oil starts spraying all over the offside front wheel, brakes etc. Not that I'm trying to scare you, but IMO, possible more important to sort than an ageing cambelt...
