If the servo it self (part 3 in the pdf) was faulty (leaking) you probably would have some erratic behavior from engin like hunting
idle, and bad servo support all the time.
If master cylinder (that thing brake pipes (1) is conected to in the pdf) was playing up, you probably would have had bad or no brakes all
I think you probably have a small leak at the seal where the one-way
valve (part 2 in the pdf) is conected to the servo, or a stuck/leaking one-way valve, or as Volkan mentioned a small leak on the hose from
servo to the plenum (engin), do as Volkan suggested listening for any
whistling noise, you can also spray some starter gas on the suspected area and listening if engin change in revs, or just change hose and valve and see if it solves your problem.
