More Alfa electrics

Thanks to all the people who have contributed to the threads and links that helped me sort out the gremlin within the Spider TS. After several hours on line finding the common denominator, 20 minutes with a pair of needle nosed pliers and a multi-meter and the errant fuse was located! Huzzah! It was, I think (in the absence of a wiring diagram) the 20 amp fuse for the cigarette lighter; at least when I changed the fuse, put the lighter back in there was a 'pop' and the fuse went again. Then it was back to normal with the stereo going off when the door was opened, the stereo going off and the footwell lights coming on when the brake pedal was pressed and any combination of the above when the lighter was put back in. Put a 30 amp fuse in place of the 20 amp and a Champagne cork in the cigarette lighter and hey presto, working stereo, footwell lamps, puddle lights and a general feeling of a job well done.
