Re: Rear suspension bush replacement
Well I've just had my rear end sorted (ooh-er missus); Adie at AH Motorsport did the job and I have to say it's amazing how much difference it's made.
I always thought my GTV handled poorly - compared to my expectations when I bought it and experience of similar cars - but now the rear performs superbly. I had Powerflex bushes fitted (all lower wishbone bushes) and, not wanting the ride to be any harder, decided to go with new OE dampers. The rear is now perfect for my taste and I'll be getting the front sorted soon, probably with a pair of Koni Sport dampers on OE springs.
The cost for the Powerflex bushes, OE dampers (c/w bump stops and turrets) and new top engine mount, inc labour and VAT, came to £750.
Money well spent in my opinion.
With reliability will ultimately come monotony.....
