Peterborough is absolutely snarled up tonight so I took a different route to the son's work and spied a lovely red 3 litre GTV, green cloverleaf on the wing panel, parked up outside a small garage on the Fletton Ave A605, I was to delighted to catch the registration number

Some time last week I spotted this nice GTV passing me in the oncoming lane. I flashed and waved, and the driver looked at me really strangely! Then I realised that I was driving a rental Ford Fiesta!!!

To the guy with the "Alfisti-WP" number plates driving around in the Cape Town area... I do own Alfas, really! I just forgot what I was driving at the time!

I would love too, but unfotunately I'm in Colchester on Sunday. Grrr and my little Gtv isnt well at the mo, I accidently damaged my Abs sensor whilst changing my front suspension over the weekend and it needs a little tlc over the next few weeks, spending my hols in a few weeks time making it better again for any event/s coming up in August.

Brill, I'll be there to support, do you what the date is? I'll have my car ready for the run

A long list to do on my car:-

Re-spray the front bumper which has gone from a Rosso red to a Burgandy colour.
Two front fog lights.
Two front new tyres.
A good polish and clean with some AutoGlym products.
Exhaust needs to be fitted.
Radiator and coolant change.

Phew... thats about it and the car will be as good as new

Then I have got to fix my dads Toyota Aygo , then after that I will be looking for a Smart Roadster, but keeping my Gtv always Love the car to bits.

Drive it like you stole it...
