Red T reg twinnie parked in the holding area just before the gate at MoD Stafford this morning around 7:30, guess the owner was in the guard house picking up a pass.

What a great day to drive our Gtv's

Saw two black spiders. One in Thetford at 11.30am and the second one in Bury St Edmunds at 2.30pm unfortunately I was walking back to my Gtv on both occasions.

One GTV you must keep your eyes out for around Merseyside is SE51DOJ. A lovely Cup. You will hear it before you see it though I guarantee it! Belongs to alfakenny on here

Dark coloured V6 GTV (P6 ESS plate IIRC) heading out of Bracknell on the A329 Wednesday evening. Anyone on here?

Cheers,

Nigel

Vela Blue GTV, possibly a V6 due to the rear wing and teledials but I didn't get a chance to spot the plate or the model. Very nice condition and was coming up to the Banbury Cross (A361) south bound just before 9:00 this morning. Thank you to the rather attractive brunette driving it who nonchalantly waved first, made me feel quite guilty for not looking after my GTV more carefully

P plate Red TS Spider I see most mornings, again on the south bound A361 before 9:00.

The train :(

Impromtu Gtv sprint this evening:

I pulled on to the southbound A23 at Pease Pottage this evening and a silver 2.0 Gtv (on a Y plate) pulled alongside me, smiled and overtook me. He then went VERY fast all the way down the A23 to the roundabout and then we went up Mill Hill. He sped off towards Hove.

Two Gtvs parked outside the Shepherd and Dog in Edburton / Fulking at about 4pm yesterday (Sunday).

One was a green 2.0 (plate ended in AWT, I met the owner once) and the other was a very dusty red 3.0.

Yay! that was me...

I wasn't driving that fast - you seemed to keep up wihout too much trouble and I even slowed down when you got stuck behind the 'plodder'... Good to have a convoy of silver GTVs down the A23

Nice to see you tonight and nice to see some more 'enthusiastic' driving - thats how they were meant to be driven. I've had mine for a couple of years now and still love it to bits... She's in for an MOT tomorrow so I might be a bit less cheerful later...

Yes great to see them being driven how they are supposed to - I think yours is 6 years younger though - it seemed to have a bit more power than my 106,000 miler, although less so going up Mill Hill?

You picked me up on my usual drive home from work, although I don't normally go up Mill Hill (I live off the Lewes Road) but it's a fast bit of road and was enjoying myself - we'll have to have another run!

I've had mine for just over two years as well and still love her too, good luck with the M.o.t today, let us know how you get on.

Oh and there might be something (possibly a bit of string or bit of a bag?) stuck to the bottom of the rear shock mounting on the driver's side.

I have a minor problem with the synchro between 2nd and 3rd gear on my car and it crunches a bit if I change between 2nd and 3rd at high revs, so I changed up earlier than I would have liked when going up Mill Hill, which is when you overtook me. I've had the problem since I've had the car and it doesn't cause any problems with 'normal' driving - I just have to be a bit careful with the 'spirited' driving It's not worth the cost of getting the gearbox rebuilt or replaced.

By the way, mine might be a younger model but it's got 107k on the clock because my commute is 75 miles each way...

I'll look out for you on my way home, although I was a little earlier than usual last night which may be why I don't normally see you.
