Saw a lot of GTVs in Watford yesterday. Mind you, I was at ProAlfa, so not entirely surprising. Nice place you've got there, Chris. Tip for other visitors - look out for Chris's neighbour, Tolpits Motors. If you get as far as Watford West Rly Station you've just missed them.

Ok, that was supposed to be a FEW dozen feet - i wasn't close enough to tell if it was 3.0l, 3.0l V6 or 2.0l...

I tell you what, give me a few days and I will get back to you with the exact average distance between myself and the GTV in front of me. I will also put together a bar chart displaying the exact thickness of the fog at each stage of my journey. Suffice to say, I was driving safely as you can at those speeds.

Way to single-handedly suck the joy out of this whole thread.

I'm not entirely certain that "100mph", "thick fog" and "driving safely" could ever be used in the same sentance!!!

It's one thing having a laugh but 100mph+ in fog? No, not joy, stupidity.

However, if we were all honest we'd have to admit to being equally foolish at least once. Therefore we need to get off our high horse and drop the pompous remarks.

No doubt it was fun TJUK; I've found myself driving at over 150mph (in a previous car some years ago) on the M25 whilst weaving in and out of traffic! At the time the adrenaline was pumping and I didn't, for one moment, consider what I doing was complete madness!

I still continue to have my fun on the public roads, but now I choose the time and the place with more maturity and thought.

Enjoy your car mate but don't kill yourself.

With reliability will ultimately come monotony.....

The train :(

Anyway, back to the point of the thread, who was in the dark blue Gtv going southbound on the A23 (just after the A272 turning) at about half eight this morning? It looked nice - I saw you looking at me looking at you!

Hi. I've deleted my previous messages from the forum as they have obviously upset you which wasn't my intention. I leave others to make their judgements about these matters. Take care and drive safely. Chris.

The train :(

As I exited the slip road from the wonderfully named 'Pease pottage' roundabout on to the southbound A23 last night, I roared past a metallic green twinnie on an S plate and gave it a couple of hoots on the horn (I saw two Gtv's yesterday - a record for me!). He then overtook me (but didn't wave ) as he passed me, so followed him all the way down the A23, on to the A27 and then on to the B something or other to Woodingdean. Anyone on here ?

Which of the three was you Mick, I'm guessing Spider as your previous was a soft top too? You wouldn't have noticed me anyway as I was in my dad's Honda Accord

Seen 2, both P1 GTV's

One yesterday near Lakeside Shopping Centre, Essex in blue. I flashed at the last minute!

One this morning (R registration - dark blue or black) near Trafalgar Sq. I was on the bus!
