Got lots of work to do on the house, so gonna get some boring hatchback to abuse.
trouble is its hard selling something you really like, if i had the room i would just store it.
but i will return to gtv ownership, as i want a busso V6 .

Saw a black Spider somewhere around the Preston area on Friday.
In Penwortham I think, though I was out and about seeing a number of clients in the locality that day.
Still think they look great.

A brave soul in a yellow 2.0TS Spider on M42 near Jn 3 southbound in the pouring rain today, X DNA. It looked good brightening the miserable day.

1400 mile round trip to Le Mans completed in my new (to me) Spider TS.
No of GTVs spotted = 2. On the way down a French P3 3.2 in silver and a UK Cup on the return journey - we exchanged waves.
No of other 916 Spiders = 0
We drive very rare cars!

2pm today pulled into the Shell garage on the A5 Nesscliffe bypass in Shropshire and parked right next to a blue spider at the pumps, I was in a red spider. He was from Gloucester and has had the car for about a year.
Recommended he joined the AOC.

A lovely Zoe Yellow spider went down my road (Sanderson Close, Leicester) earlier; lady in the passenger seat had a good look at the GTV as they went past (and shamed me into giving it a clean!).

Anyone on here?

You obviously went straight ahead and did the Buntingford road. I live just by it. From Baldock take the a507 to Buntingford for some nice twisty stuff and then the a10 down to Ware for some license loosing roads and then back to Baldock on the A1m...a great triangle.

Just entering the Turin city limits when behind us I saw a Black GTV, I put my hands up and gave them a wave, next thing he's pulled up besides us, honking his horn flashing his lights and waving like crazy. After driving round Italy I only saw 2 GTV's,not seen a Spider, expect ours of course, a few 159's & 156's, most Alfa's were Guillieters and a few mito's. Italians seem to have deserted the Alfa brand in favour of Audi's of which there are thousands.Shame as it would boost their economy and Jobs, which is what the French do.

What is unfortunate is that Alfa in the past has always better equipped cars for the foreign markets and for the Italian market left a lot of the normal conf as optional to be charged. The price point of view did not help in the past and the Tax on cars too applicable in Italy. Alfa Romeo in Italy has always been considered a sporty car, an expensive car to run.
Hopefully things will change but when you are selling cars in such a competitive markets and in a nation with financial troubles unless the cars are made to be appealing they will not sell only based on history and look.
I am Italian and I am sorry to see that Alfa has more of an appeal abroad rather than in the home country.

Saw 2 in half an hour today! One blue V6 in B&Q car park at Lakeside, Thurrock. The other, black with red interior, on the main road through Chislehurst. Both great looking examples.

Blue spider parked near the Hop Pole in Tewkesbury on Saturday when the Medieval fair was on? Had an Alfa Owner sticker.
I was walking not driving though.

Sadly spotted a silver GTV on the side of the M25 on my way to the channel tunnel this afternoon, looked like it had an argument with something as the front was badly damaged.
Hope whoever it was is ok.
