Did a 250 mile round trip mostly on A roads today in my Giulietta and early doors decided to count interesting Alfas - that means 916s, 166, 155 etc. How many did I see? Nil. None. Bugger all. Zilch.
The only Alfas I saw all day were another couple of Gs, a couple of Mitos, a single 147 and one 159. Didn't see a single 156 even.
How rare are our cars?
I did see a nice green Fiat Coupe and an XR4.

For me this is good, I like to be different, but this does not come cheap, possibly because I use my car's full performance whenever possible.

Have taken my GTV several times over the last couple of years to France & Portugal, many adoring fans of my GTV (of both sexes & many ages) from many countries who have never seen such a car.

I am presently on holiday in Madeira, no 916s but there was a lovely 'older' 2.0 GTV being driven through the old part of Funchal last night as I was sitting outside the restaurant having my evening meal.

GTV_Blue? 1500 on Blaby/Enderby road. In my battered insignia so didn't wave, your GTV was looking good!

Apart from whilst at Autolusso, not seen a single 'interesting' Alfa since buying mine. One lives in hope.

If you'd seen me on the Blaby bypass a minute up the road you'd have heard me max out in 2nd & 3rd doing roughly 70ish I'll keep my eyes peeled for you.

Followed a silver Spider through Bridgwater this morning, I think I may have been going to the same place but didn't see where it parked.
Followed a black GT out of Bridgwater this pm, is this an Alfa hotspot?
This is the first time I've seen a Spider/GTV since becoming an owner, what is the etiquette for encountering other models? Do we acknowledge only our models?
Obviously we can't acknowledge every Alfa, as a former Fiat Coupe owner this problem didn't come up too often but there are a lot more GTVs out there (somewhere!)

Dark blue gtv southbound M6 just north of Kendal (J36). No opportunity to wave as I was northbound in my friend's car. Possibly my favourite GTV colour.

Last night about 7.50 T-reg Silver Spider

Just along side the Chorley Wood Tube station. Just caught a glimpse of you as I turned the hairpin into the straight and saw your rather friendly wave. I did wave back but thought you might of missed it. Then had to explain the whole 'spotted' thing to my wife.
